1991 Nissan Safari, Y60, AD model LWB approx 360,000kms

Has been a company vehicle 2 owners prior to me, last owner, I used it as a company car, and know the owner before, high km's but always serviced at 5000kms, any probs always fixed, a very well looked after safari, when I got it, it had rust issues around the roof/gutter, lots of hours spent cutting it out and replating, only touch up bog for smooth lines, have photo's i any doubts

Has monsoons all round except passenger front, put new dash cluster in, only need sender for tacho (engine side) but have well detailed records for Kms, as above and have service records.

Its been like a first born, what it needs it gets, If I could, its had the bits it wants.

I like the truck but there's pressure from the wife, an ideal trade would be an auto cruiser (???) (what she wants) but there's no hurry to let it go, we want 2 cars, a station wagon, auto and a 4x4 ute (prefer double cab), I have to buy 1 and get rid of my truck for 1 so bring on the deals or cash, whatever, could be keen on the right car (toy) so you never know..............?

Yeah, got to agree as the boys have grown up, we have outgrown the truck. Ah well she is off to SDouthland today and next month I'll be in the looksee for a lwb patrol or 80 series in Oz to build up. Good luck with the swap.

If you have done all that work to it why not drop a bit of lift out of it and put an auto in . Then if plans change in a few years you can put it all back in .

If I had the cash to do that I'd just buy another car and keep my safari? That's a few bucks to do that, just imagine the beers I'd consume while trying to do it let alone the price of a trans and Factory tires........etc  Hmmmmm...............beers,
