i used to have a 4wd mitsubishi cordia that i drove around there once it had 14 inch rims with light duty off road tyres on it was a blast so it sat a bit higher than other cordias scrapped it a bit going over devils gate only made it by straddling the wheel ruts

i think i got to the really soft bit and thought i better turn around before i got stuck i know i passed at least one lot of bachs

Cave bay at the end can be very hard to cross but once you get past it is an easy drive to cable bay where you have to turn around.
The rocks at the start of cave bay need the sand to be up to make it easy and safe or pile some rocks up and take the high line. At the other end the sand, pebbles can be on a steep slope and hard to get up and down without getting stuck on the water line. And once you are round there if you do have a problem only 1 or 2 people will be that far round even on a busy red rocks day so take your walking boots :? [/img]

Ahhh cheers Goona (Jumper) I was getting confused trying to figure out the first version. The good thing about that drive is that track condition change from week to week, month to month.

Oh yeah that mud hole is a cracker, remember that one Mike!

Oh that hurts

Where is that Bren Carrier buried? Heard a few people have found it half buried while driving along.
