Diff breather on Surf

Hi guys,

Does anyone know where I can get the hose join connectors for a Toyota Surf?

I am putting in some extended diff breathers so need the connections that screw into the diff which I think are 1/8 BSP threading.

I need a straight one, and a 90 degree one, have tried Mitre 10 mega and Supercheap but no joy.

I got mine from ENZED Hoses, I don't know the sizes, I just took the factory ones out and matched them, they had heaps of different angles and various hose sizes, a few bucks from memory?

On the Shore here, I go to Ash Air in Glenfield.

Diff breathers installed - Twigg was the place, thanks for the advice.

Only took about 4 hours and about 60% of the skin on my hands.

Funny that the instructions didnt mention that:
1. Running the hose for the rear into the rear well is a nightmare
2. The front diff breather is in about the most awkward position ever.

Couple of questions - excuse my naievety
1. Does it matter what spike on the fuel filter the hose is connected to? The ones I used were basically a cylinder with a spike at either end.
2. How will I know if I havent done it right - apart from the obvious fouling of the diff oils when I cross water? Will anything be obvious just through normal driving?

to a degree no, but there should be and arrow indicating flow on it

nope, i dont see how you could stuff it up, only sign will be as you said, watery oil

i use the metal push lock air fittings, there are the right thread to screw straight in and then use either 6 or 8mm air tube. The air tube is really strong and its clear so you can see if its got shit in it etc. As above- as long as its done, it doesnt matter how you have done it it will do the job.
