front coil bump stops

does any one know the cost of these at all ones come apart so may as well do both
found to good 2 hand full of dirt under that 2 bolt cap, nuts rusted round so die grinder will fix it

hi try the mount shop. read that landcruiser bumpstops are a good upgrade for the front of a gq

Hi coxy I put 80 series rear bump stops in the front of mine they go straight in but are a bit longer than original.

my problem is I'm taking the truck way to for new weekend so have sod all time to do much on this truck like remove the coils to refit them, also manukau toyota are assholes to deal with

Keep replacing the nissan bits with Toyota Landcruiser bits until no more nissan bits remain and that will fix your problem :wink:

PS. I'm after a pair of 80 series rear bump stops also if anyone has some lying around...

Call the mount shop direct they dont have all thier listings in their latest catalogue so the website is prob the same theyll have them you just got to ask directly

got gen nissan ones $85 each, so replace again in 22 years

a mate had the bolt rust off his aswell

cut a new disc out of 3mm steel welded a bolt to it painted it and glued the rubber back on has been there for 2 to 3 yrs now and looks solid as beats $170

painted the crap out of it and no cap so can clean it out with the rest of the truck

ah yes ken now does the same

a bad nissan idea that one

also check the rear tube cross member it has plastic plugs on either side, have to remove the wheels to see clearly, the diff breather goes into that tube thats why the caps are there but the caps hold shit load of grim and dirt which creates corrosion etc clean that out and relocate the breather just a hint :wink:

i removed those bungs on one of my last trucks, and the tube was almost rotted through from the inside , i had to turn some bushes and weld them in.....the truck i am building now which is 1988 has the oldest but best chassis i have seen and this is my seventh GQ.
