its gona be a bit longer than that mate, still have to wire up the rest of the loom and get the fuel tank sorted,and then get it turned around so i can get the commodore diff set up and mated in ..... so be a few weeks yet.... :roll:

got a bit of the inside done, modified tunnel to take the commy shifter and fitted dash,heater unit etc and put the commy console in:)

and the engine bay is nearly finished, just needs the pod filter and shiny tube

Looks good (ok no it doesn't Purple still? but beauty is in the eye of the beholder) and remember the pod add's 10 HP and the shiny pipe does too (or is that only in hondas)

have to wait for tag to be made now (5-7 days)

get a deck on it to put some weight over the arse( cant put foot on gas untill doing over 70kph or it just lights up :twisted:

then get WOF

then road trip to shake it down :twisted:

its gonna stay hack status for a few weeks yet but it will be getting a poo job and a coat of paint soon....ish when i can be bothered to paint it, lol. deck is priority now :roll:

nah still has the biscuits on the front at the mo, going to machine up some adapter plates to fit the commy front wheels when i get the chance.

managed to run all the cables for my stereo today and fit the speakers front and rear :wink:

just need a head deck now and ..... other stuff :roll:

update

commy rear end and exhaust

engine bay finished with a coat of black (pain in the arse painting around everything)

front interior basicly finished

back interior basicly finished

its getting bogged (thanks for the help pete, much appreciated :wink:

)and sanded ready for a coat of Jam to finish it all off in Silver and a flatdeck soon....ish, i hope :roll:

yea well, i tried to get them off but they are stuck on the inside onder the tint and i want to keep the tint on the back window so...they stay :roll:

Looks good.

A couple of cans of vinyl spray to colour match the interior and you will have a tidy looking truck.

I am sure Repco/Supercheap will have something. I did an interior about 10 years ago, converted the seats and door panels to black.

Also did some plastic trim bits, pulled everything together nicely. You will find trim shops probably do something similar.

stereo is pumping

cert tag is on

just have to finish mounting the deck( tomorrow after work) ,get a WOF & REGO( friday after work) and give it a coat of Jam( next few weeks, no rush) and its done

it still does skids whenever i try to accelerate.....even if i am allready doing 70kph...just lights up :twisted:

Ah, takes me back to the days of my old L200 ute. Theres nothing like running power to the two wheels that have no weight on them for lightin up and sliding sideways
