when did you need any of that for a good old CASHY?
Not taking sides but if someone offered me $$ for a tow I'd take it, I'd probably expect a few beers as well

If there were questions about GST numbers, insurance........I'd just leave you there,
Isn't it "all care taken, no responsibility"
Whats the alternative? who else do they call? what are your options when you just don't know? you ring the local club, my tool box is covered with numbers contacts, google, refered to etc etc, I've snapped rental cars in the absolute middle of nowhere, you ring the company, they ring the local 4x4 club, they make a few bucks, life carries on. maybe the old 8k is a bit steep but how about 1k, 5k, whats reasonable, whats your time worth.
If it was my mate, I'd expect a few bucks for gas (maybe), a few beers and I'd try and make him wash the truck, or I'd just wash it in his driveway, how about some random dude in the middle of no-where, or in this case two guys stuck, if it was a simple case of a broken winch wire why didn't he just buy a new one.
What has happened is wrong, maybe they should pay?, for all we know they might of just watched cause they were paying for a service?
At least now we know, if you get stuck don't call the BoP 4x4 club, they charge heaps,
call wopass, he's half their price
