Theres a Maruti parked in there at the moment if anyone wants to check one out too.
Have to admit I don't know how the company survives with his prices what they are- everything seems too cheap considering the labour, materials and tooling used for each part. People just don't know that, for example, they can get race seats for $100ish ea if they just turn up there or give him a call.
the maruti is, basically, a long wheelbase suzuki samurai and it will be sold by suzuki NZ as a soft top with the option of a fiberglass rear panel and roof. I spent a few weeks shaping these two parts and getting them ready to pull molds from.
Probably the coolest project I have ever been involved in and I have learnt many skills while there in the workshop that I couldn't have got from a book or the net. Not a bad place to kill the days when you aren't able to work full-time.
ALSO, something steve does not advertise is his HUGE store of molds. He can help with many parts that people wouldn't think to ask about.
While being nosey i've found molds for about 10 different styles of race/boat seat, recessed fuel filler pieces, rifle stocks

, lotus 7 body panels, VW beach buggy's, camper van roofs, some small dinghys, dash boards, any size/shape wheel flare, window surrounds, jeep hard tops, grilles, guards, bonnets, storage boxes, roof console boxes, off road buggy panels, half doors for fj40/suzuki/whatever, gauge and switch panels, vents, scoops, louvers... etc etc etc!!!
He does not even have a complete catalog of all available parts so you have to ask him personally what is available.
Sorry about the huge plug. I'm passionate about all things 4wd and especially made in NZ so talk too much

phone Ross Bolus (secretary of the BOP club) He'll save you.
