I don't know if it will last that long anyway as if you go by what some of the owners say they are using tech from 1822.

I thought belts were the norm but I guess Merc like to think outside the box with their "suspendors"

There's not much out there right now so I'll have to check regularly.

I like the look of this one.
$25k is around the budget I'm on.

I'd prefer manual/leather but they are like rocking horse shit. You can't find one.

That would be like me selling the Holden and buying a ford. It just wouldn't happen!

You cant beat the 100 series with the intercooled 1HD-FTE, they just go so well and will tow anything, I think the only manual ones were the 105 series that had the solid front end and they never came with the TDI engine only the petrol 6 and non-turbo 4.2 diesel.

Those ml320 merc's are horrible things and dont even compare to a Prado in my opinion, A Range rover would be a better option  And the GU patrol/safari cant compete with the Cruiser in comfort and performance but they are still a very good option but you don't like Nissans eh

If you dont mind the fuel bill and want a little luxury the LX470 lexus version of the 100 series can be brought very cheap these days and are very nice trucks but the 4.2 TDI goes just aswell using way less fuel.

So most of you think it's worth between $15k-$20k.

I hope to get more than that. But it goes for what ever I can get on the day. I have to move on from it..

I do believe who ever gets my truck will be stoked with it.
I've owned it long enough to iron out re-power issues.
It's been my daily driver for a few years now.
Will be sad to see it go. I'll miss it.

Looks like a nice well set-up truck and as many people have said on here in different post's that the km's dont really matter if its been serviced and looked after. It will usually be the lowish km un-serviced truck that will crap itself first from lack of maintence.

Just had a fella from Auckland offer me $15k for it.
After lots of exposure it'll be interesting to see how the,"dollar reserve" auction goes.
It's only been listed on TM for a matter of a few hours. Over 400 hits already.
Not that it means much.

Good luck Pete, hope you get a fair price for it (wish I had the coin to buy it)

Looks like the auction is set up as a classified (not $1 reserve).

Cheers.

I was thinking of doing a dollar reserve once it's past the 15th of Feb. Once Jase and Sarah are hitched it sells.
Between now and then is just advertising really.

Half way through the second day listed and it's had over a 1000 views!!
Sure, the no price tag would be a draw card but still. 1000 views is nuts.

Had the same dude who made the first offer come back with a second one this morning. $21k but with my street legal beadlocks and rubber thrown in PLUS he wanted me to put new piston/rings/bearings in the motor. The motor is just fine. Sure, it could do with a freshen up if you're going to super charge it or something.

Can't blame a man for trying I guess.

you know you're on fire when you get an email from trademe saying your truck is the 2nd most viewed item on trademe (like i did), maybe you can hit number 1. problem is about 0.01% of them are actually interested in buying it. Good luck with the sale and all future projects/investments and hobbies.

I wouldn't think for a minute that I'd get in the top ten most viewed.
I'm surprised it's had so many in just over a day.

Yep. I'd say out of those first 1000 views you'd be luck if more than a couple of people are seriously thinking about a purchasing it.
