i have a surf with 4.3 ratio 4 pinion lsd diff in the bac. i am looking at gettin lokkas and have a set of 4.87 ratio diffs but the back is only a 2 pinion. may plan was to use these as beter ratio for my bigger wheels. how much different in strength are they? what exactly is the difference between 2 adn 4 pinion? i always thort there was only one pinion gear lol.

The yanks call them pinions ( 2 and 4 ) but well call then 2 and 4 spyder, relating to the number of spyder gears in the diff.
Anyway you Q about running the 4.88's.. go for it.
The 2 pinion with lokka witll be a bit noiser then the same in a 4 pinion and yes the 4 is stronger buy only really effects those with the big donks and heavy right foot !
