hilux rear axle bearings

should i replace the rear axle bearings while i have my axles out? or only if they are stuffed?
they look in bloody good nick.
ive learnt that they need a lot of pressure to be pressed out along with heat..
they have a little play but this is typical yea?

Bit of a bitch of a job to do unless you have the right gear.
If they look good pack em with greasen an biff em back in,
Even if they do give you trouble later they aren't that hard to pull out again.

sweet, yea they seem pretty good actually, will double check tomorrow and may just leave em

dont use heat, best way is to cut as much out of the pressed on ring without cutting the axle then pressing it off.

iv seen axles snap not long after bearing replaced using heat.
