the springs are 12months old and the shocks were installed 7 weeks before i brought the truck. the only reason i took them out was to install a 100mm lift. yes i would take 600.

Sorry I have'nt got back to you , just a couple queries are the springs hard or soft ?
and are they holding their tension well being 12 months old ?
did you have to have a transfer box spacer on your setup ?
where are you in this country of ours ?
cheers

they are a soft spring, i had no problems with them with the 33x12,5 bfgs on it, the old owner used it for towing horse float and the occasional day trip, they were still sitting
i had to install 30mm spacers on the gear box cross member and lenghten the rods on the diffs, my location is waikuku beach north canterbury

You should get away with gearbox spacers to stop the driveline vibrations the lift will cause.
Each vehicle is different, but my swb runs a 3" lift, and I use 12mm spacers, with very little vibration left.

You can get adjustable upper trailing arms, these are the 2 upper arms the attach to the rear diff and chassis. These will tilt the diff, which also helps to reduce the vibrations.

DaveM ive just had my panhard modified and made adjustable by Howat Industries, Havent got the bill yet but it will be a lot cheaper than buying adjustables and he did a really good job. I can post pics tommorow if you are interestred.

That would be great.
I'm getting drop boxes, H/D lower trailing arms, and adjustable uppers from SWAGES in the next week or 2, and was looking at the panhards too, but they are around $600pr.

What shocks are you running in the front? I'm going 4" lift, but was looking for a longer shock (80 series) for the front.
Was wondering if I should just stick with the 3" lift, and go 40mm body, and put taller shock hoops in.

Know anywhere with a reasoable price on difflocks?

Cheers,
Dave

Ill post some pics and update my project thread tomorrow, Running koni 88 series adjustables in the front 650 extended and 320 compressed i have had to raise the top shock hoops 40mm to account for the longer shock.

We run a 4" + 30mm BL lift in our shorty and have only had to put in 10mm gearbox packers, do the panhards and put in caster plates. 3" is supose to be that little bit easier in regards to other required mods.

Grant Guy gave me a good price for an ARB Locker when i was over at OBC I just wish i could remember what it was

Keep an eye out for a factory one, I one picked up a complete rear end with locker etc for $600 bux and it hasnet missed a beat.
