i failed my wof because my truck is pulling hard to the right under braking. i ended up rebuilding both front calipars and if anything it only seems to have made the problem worse. iv tried swapping pads and wheels over but nothing has made a difference so far.
i have recently had problems with my steering/idler arm, that are now fixed and i have noticed that my front left tire is wearing very fast on the inside edge. That being said the truck drives straight and the wheel alingment guys said it was unlikely bad alinment would cause the pulling only while braking.
Does anyone have any ideas about what the problem could be?

maybe something funky happening in the line/bias valve if they have one...

Terrano's run a seperate line from the master cylinder to each front wheel. So problem is almost gauranteed to be in the master cylinder.
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.

None of them.
Sounds like a control arm issue.
Get new alignment man

The ball joints and tie rod ends must be checked using the correct method, and all the inner control arm bushes need to be checked, both top and bottom. The wear on the left tire is a sign that all is not well and the alignment can be adjusted to over come any pulling while driving straight but when you brake that's a different story

Check your front sway bar bushes, I had the exact same problem on my wifes capri years ago, I resealed the calipers, got a wheel alignment, problem drove me nuts, would pull left under braking, I checked the front swaybar bushes and they were worn, one was worn in the front and one was worn in the back. They sit ok when driving and when you hit the brakes the swaybar moved to the left biasing the trackarms. hope this helps.

sibainmud, Yea the last thread link you posted is one i started. I just rechecked the drag arm bushes that i replaced before Christmas and it looks like they are stuffed again
I have barely taken the truck off road since then!!! I made up some slider plates and replaced the idler arm at the same. Does anyone have a road legal D21 with 33” tires and 2” suspension lift??? The standard parts just don’t seem to be able to handle day to day driving with this setup, let alone off-road abuse.
Anyway I still am not convinced that the pulling while braking is being cause by the stuffed ball joints alone as the problem was still there just after I replaced the joints!

I know there is definitly one fella with 33's on a road legal d21. But he has strengthened the idler arm i think.
