Those ml320 merc's are horrible things and dont even compare to a Prado in my opinion, A Range rover would be a better option
If you dont mind the fuel bill and want a little luxury the LX470 lexus version of the 100 series can be brought very cheap these days and are very nice trucks but the 4.2 TDI goes just aswell using way less fuel.

Looks like the auction is set up as a classified (not $1 reserve).
The motor is just fine.
