ive been looking at a few videos of lake daniels 4wd tracks just wundering how you get in there and can you stay in the hut

You can go up the creek but there is a locked gate at the thompsons flat so you cant go across or use the hut. Most 4wd clubs in christchurch go in once a year so join a club and go in with them then you can stay in the hut and go across the flats and then its 15minute walk to the lake.

as above but you can go in without being in a club you just need to apply to the owners and pay the money etc. You turn right off the main road from springs junction to murchason (coming from chch) just before you get to the Mariua (reeds store) township.
