and ive found out that the setup using snr4x4 brackets and mr2 calipers and prado rotors have only been tested mostly on coiled trucks or wide axle converted hiluxes where theres more clearance between springs and hubs, so on my factory leaf sprung rear i cant mount the mr2 calipers up high like i would like.
so heres some pics on the 2 opions I have. what are your opinions? the forward facing option seems best
95% of my wheeling is bush and mud, little rock
and im not using handbrake, ive got a transfer case brake
otherwise is there another caliper i can use thats more slimline that will still work with the snr brackets ive got and the prado rotors
forward facing

forward facing, not bad, the bleed nipple is the most vulerable

rear facing, more overhang

im sure the calipers can handle a bit of a knock at low speed..
i was going to do a u bolt flip but maybe as it is the u bolt plate would help to take some of the shock off the calipers
