3rz wont start

Post by turbo6 »

Ok I got this 96 surf that has had frontal impact as im going strip it for parts, now trying to get it running the thing will crank over easy but just wont start, doesnt even ignite a little bit.

ive checked the spark which is good, checked the injectors which is good ,all fuses are fine , im either thinking the ecu buggered or has crap fuel in it.

Any idea's what i can do next?

engine is a 3rzfe, manual trans

The ecu may have been shocked, however if it was dead, i say you'd have no fuel or spark, or one of either.

if it has both then it will either be Timing or maf.

Do you recon theres some type off kill switch in it as the airbags has gone off so might have something to do with that?

Nah it should still start mate. Check over all the plugs as an impact could have broken/loosened some of them.

Could be very possible. Check them all thoroughly. Also might be an idea to check the earths as its possible one or two could have broken
