got offered some soilid steel to slide inside me chassy rails is it worth doing as its already fairly heavy in the front :roll:

You don't want to go adding weight to your truck just for the hell of it especially not on the front. Bullbars are a great idea to save panel damage. You want to make it strong as poss but not heavy.

Your not wrong there....
I used a chainblock in the shed to get my bullbar back on
8274 winch at 50kg and ARB bullbar at around 30kg? :cry:

so replacing my original bumper with steel I beam, 150mm x 1500mm (which is precut and fits perfectly with both the original bumper mounts and width) might no be such a good idea????

HEHE, make some good dozering though!!!
