VITARA/HILUX MORF

Post by madtoolbox »

What to do? I have a rolling vitara, a rolling LN46 hilux chassis and a 3.8 V6 and auto :D . What do you guys reckon. vitara cab and chassis with lux diffs and some coils or use the LN46 chassis, shorten it and put the vitara body on that. Its a project for my 13yo boy and me, well ok mostly me, but he is keen as so we are into it.

Well the Suzuki purist in me says stay with the Suzuki chassis, but the off road ability and aftermarket support says go with the shortened Toyota chassis and all that.

Sounds like your son is lucky.

Good luck :D

Hi there and welcome :) Sounds like you are going to have a good project ahead of you for a while. Using the Suzuki Vitara chassis will probably be more difficult as the IFS front, and the chassis is stepped. The project sounds fairly similar to our truck check it out it might give you some ideas.

Thanks "suzukisport" nice machine. Planning on coils front and rear on ours. Did you make your transfer adaptor or is it off the shelf? We are in Dargaville so might see you around sometime.
