Photos in threads help please.

Hello, have managed to get some pics in the gallery but am having trouble getting photos up in a thread. Have got the pics on photobucket and have copied and pasted the link thing between the img parts but when the thread is submitted it doesn't show the pics only the link thing. Sorry for the lack of techno terms but this is new to me, any help in very basic language much appreciated.

Also forgot to say have tried to post the pics in tool shed show us your engine bay.

i agree having the same prob click( img) in thread reply ! WTF thats all it will do ! wont bring pic's up ??????

upload them to photobucket (or similar), make sure you set the album size and pic size to 640x480, copy the pic link in photobucket (the one with the img stuff) or click on the img button in ore and paste the link inbetween it.

if replying, use the quote button, or copy the image location (right click on pics and copy pic location or something like that) and use the image button and paste link inbetween

Yea not the easiest to do. I upload my photos to facebook. Right click on the photo and then click on 'copy image location' or 'copy image url'. Then go go to ORE click the img button and then put your cursor between the [img]and[/img] and hit ctrl+v. Then you should have a picture on your past. I want to see this LS2!!!!

you have to many (img) links should only be one at each end

like this except without the spaces between the brackets and img bit.

basically when u copy the direct link photobucket puts the "img" bit in for ya so you dont have to add it on here as well. just copy the link straight from photobucket to the thread.
