ahh I also tried to mount the new tow bar with removable hitch to the zuk. but because of a certain recovery in Woodhill a while back the holes no longer line up.

So what to do now? Might clean it up and sell it and get the cambelt water pump, tensioner and rocker cover gasket that I need.

Faaark I hat that bent chassis. makes every thing so much harder to work on.

Oh does any one have a cheap gen 1 pajero?

Bummer Lincoln :(
Thought that damage would come back to haunt you :(

I think I need a higher shed. This is the clearance with front wheels just off the ground
Image

Anyways, thought I'd check out why my right front suspension collapsed last weekend, think this has anything to do with it :?:
Image
Image

Now I have to find one of these
Anyone know of any?
D21 Terrano.
Will have to replace handbrake cable tomorrow too as mine is rooted due to getting tangled in some fence wire at Woodhill

That's it today and covers tomorrow too.
Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

bugger ... lol the amount of damage you do to that poor Nissan ... ever thought of trading it up for a Saf? im sure you wont break quite as much stuff in one of those

Well spent the last week transforming myself into a Naki'ite, also learning the finer points of Labor dept laws regarding employee Holiday pay entitlement :|

Sold The Mistress so now back to having to talk to the wife  funny how things go .. the guy that Heath bought the truck from belongs to the same club as the chap that bought the Mistress so she's effectively going back home, so pleased she's off to someone that will use her and abuse her. anyways I now have moneys burning a hole in my pocket, want to upgrade my tah's on the Safari from the biscuit 31x10.5x15's that are on there now.

Im leaning towards 33x12.5x15's over 35's as ive only got a 3 inch lift and don't want to go body lift route. also being non turbo and a daily driver I don't want to go too big and have it drive like more of a pig on the road.

anyone got a set of cheap Factory Safari rims floating around ??

pulled/ripped the disco body of a chassis, the looks on the nieghbours faces when a truck rocks up, chains slung thru front and back windows, and hiab off chassis, who knew brake lines almost pick a chassis off the ground before they snap, were pricless!!, got $200 scrap for it, just got to get rid of a 3.5 inj motor manual gearbox and front diff,

Finally got around to putting the simex's on after giving the safari a 2" spring lift, guard cut and rebuilt front bar.

Image

Happy with how everything has come together with a nice approach angle

Image

Will do some sort of side and rear bars one day

Image

For some reason the spedo wasn't working today (have been playing with wiring etc when hooking up GME radio so may have knocked something off.

Also having a problem with wheel nuts coming loose. Last two big drives have come home to find a missing wheel nut and a lot of the others loose. They were all tight before leaving so not sure what is going on there.

left front by any chance??? my LWB lost all 6 nuts on the sand! then for about a week after they would wind off at random. now do them up tight and check them once a week at least.

Haha had the same thing happen to my SWB safari lost all 6 nuts (front passengers) in the Brenderwyns doing about 60kms around a corner (dodgy as) at 5am. Lost the wheel up the bank and ended up in the middle of the road behind me. I had no wheel brace and spare wheel nuts were a different size. Lucky a guy with a navara passing through gave me 4 of his wheel nuts to get me to the bottom and into the rest area until my wife came from whangarei to bring supplies. I would keep an eye on them big time. Always took spare wheel nuts after that and a power bar with both wheel nut sizes.

Other than that my weekend consisted of taking my front passengers guard so I can start my snorkel build next weekend (hopefully). All I can say is Isuzu need to re think there way of mounting guards!!! what a mission.
