Hey guys,
I did a quick search but really can't seem to find anything. Despite the rear window working fine, and winding down with the key and back up fully, the rear tailgate somehow has just stopped working.... The pin to release it (the lock) just wont budge so I cant drop the tailgate.
Any ideas?

Is the glass going fully down?? ie below the level of the rubber??
The interlock between the glass and the opening mechanism is mechanical (Form memory) so won't be a switch or control box or anything...
Might need to climb inside and pull it appart to see what's going on, I've had problems with mine, mainly things sticking after 're-shaping' the tail gate with a tree...

ok, with the window in the up position, climb in from the passengers rear doors.
pull the carpeted panel off, followed by unscrewing the steel panel.
you will now see he door locking mechanism and electric motor arms etc.
you will see the little metal arm that disables the door lock when the window is up, this unlocks when the windows armatures pass by it moving it into the (unlock position.
put the window down far enough to clear the seals around the body,
then manually flick the mechnisim into the unlock position.
you should now be able to fold the tail gate down.
check none of the plastic clips are broken etc etc
