Cindy took me over to the hosp and it dosent look too good, got a nasty looking jaggered fracture in my arm up by my shoulder, they reckon it'll take about 6 months to heal, they are leaving the arm in a sling for a couple of weeks for the bones to seperate then they'll look at whether they chop it open and plate it or what ever they are going to do it :x

it cost me nothing to get out of the bush, they refused any boxes of piss for running me out so I'm still $8k up but I'll drop a couple of boxes off anyway

I had to leave whiz in the bush with his half built bunkroom and porch, I finished all the framing off so he only has to stick the rafters up and clad the place, Bruce was going to go back in this afternoon to finish it off for me and close it in but Lloydie said he was still at the pub when he left tonight   Image

aftermarth of Woodhill bogs.

Gave it a good wash out with the hose, and put in the green stuff and all good to go, a very successful job for the day.

Just a quiet one. Went to drill the internal hole for my snorkel but my drill is not big enough so have to wait until another weekend unless i just cut it with my angle grinder :D as it wont be seen by anyone. Got my brother n law to back my wagon out the other day and no reverse lights new it was either a fuse or switch. went under to have a look wires had snapped off the switch and the fuse had blown so both replaced (thanks for spare gear boxes with the switches on it).

*edit: Got the angle grinder out and cut the hole perfect :)

now waiting for my joiners and will cut the spare guard open so I can do my template and then cut my proper guard. Mount then test :) but next weekend.

At least you look happy about it Marty
Hope you heal up quickly dude.

Repowered my work truck yesterday with the original engine that came out of it (after blwoing up the other one trying to drag off a petrol tanketr at the lights  ). It is going to another member on ORE as his new supplied work truck (haven't told him that yet though  :P so please take it easy on the old girl Mike :D ).

Well spent the weekend 4wding and working.

Went up to Te Rau Puriri Regional Park as the sole NorWest Member (Embarrasing really, people seem to get stuck in a rut as it were. Woodhill and thats about it. For goodness sake tyr going to other places and talking to other for once. You might get access to a new place :o  ) and joined up with some Auckland and Land-rover guys. Went to Higham Road, so in person all about the fuss there and spoke to the land owners trying to close it, and to the lagoon at Murawai.

Today as a whole we removed 1km of fence. Bloody good weekend.

Except for the bloody hoax call I had at 2:10 in the morning and the tiny tent I had and the fact I forgot half of what I needed.

met some good guys and yea. I will get pics up later. awesome views up there too.
