hahah gud on ya, being your first 4wd maybe it was the driver? but seriously, in 1963 (when you were already a fossil...) what better options were available besides an FJ40? which had their own set of problems too...

I wouldn't say a lwb landy is good for anything much myself either... I'll stick to my 1972 88" - and yeah they make 202's in aussie, and they also pumped them out of chev factories in the states, thats where my one came from.... btw its also high compression version, no shortage of torque...

Well bugger me, I wasn't even a glint in my uncle's eye in 1963 and if you weren't such a cock you would know that the 40 series hadn't been produced by then either
So I guess that means that the problem plagued 40 had many issues before I was born that the designers didn't know about. Best someone told then about this before they built them eh??

Man, if only they had your wisdom back then eh??

Guess what????

You still a cock and here is a song for you.....

And the only torque that you know about is the dribble that you seem to be full off.

P.S 202 never came out of the states

You are right Mongoose, I should of mentioned that they weren't produced in New Zealand at that time. They were produced in New Zealand from 1969.
