This event is on again during the first weekend in March. Not a 'rip it up' run but a chance to four wheel close to National Park and enjoy some comforts in the evening. "Family friendly".
Check www.4x4nationalpark.co.nz and request a registration form.

Check the updated photos from the route checks over the weekend. www.4x4nationalpark.co.nz/news.htm
Registrations are still welcomed. These are very pleasant 4x4 weekends.

Re: 4x4 National Park
It's 90% on private land and 10% on DOC land with their permission. We lost one good track in DOC's area because of a culvert collapse and we don't have time to organise bridging. We still have over 40km of route each day

Re: 4x4 National Park
Despite heavy rain at times, the crew who joined us at National Park all seemed to be pretty happy and thanks to their participation, the National Park School will benefit to the tune of $1000.
Thank you too, to the Park Travellers Lodge who hosted the event and donated a prize of a weekend's accommodation at the lodge.
