hey mate sorry I haven't been able to get on here, still no power at home. Thank you very much for the offer, I had planned to pump water striaght into the river but been told that is not an option (even though thats what the council is doing ). The drains are all stuffed and blocked but the water is draining very slowly so things should be ok. The other problem I had with the pump was that after talking to a neighbour he said he stuffed a very expensive work pump in minutes from the grit/sand that it was pulling up with the water and i don't want to forking out for a new pump when i bugger yours
