22r vs 4y

Post by 86-surf »

soo i have a 22r 1990 surf, and a 4y 1991 single cab 2wd ute.
I jumped in the surf expecting a bit of power over the 4y but it struggles to get to 100kph, where the 4y doesnt even struggle to get to 140-160kph.

what im asking is, are the 22r normaly this gutles? or is mine just overly slow..?

Cheers

have noticed that the tires on each truck are different sizes, gear ratios are different and you would also find your surf weighs more that the 2wd..
both engines are thirsty and gutless anyway
what happend to your commy V6 hilux
SASed Isuzu Mu - hilux diffs, Rears up front, disc brake conversion, ifs hub swap, crossover steering, and legal!!!!
