I do not think it is all down to the rim width as mine are 15x8's with -24 offset and 33" tyres.

I have yet to bend a tir rod or anything for that matter. I just have an issue with excessive wear on the tie rods.

Maybe I drive like a Nana?
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Mine are 8 inch with 0 off-set.

With no sway bars, 50mm body lift and standard torsions, 50mm lift rear springs and 32's (33.4) Simex's, I can do this piece of piss

More I flex it the better it gets :P

That looks awesome. Do you get rub at max flex on the rear gaurds? With 33's with body and sus lift do you need to cut front gaurds? is that very hard?

Trimed front guards just a wee bit, no rub at all, not even when I get it airbourne
I researched the off-sets to get it just right

Airborne! lol i done that awhile ago, not intentional tho.. So you would get bad rub if you had 11.5" wide tyres im guessing? I wanna try fit 33x11.5 or 12.5s but im guessing it would be abit of a mission..?

hmmm, i'm thinking a fair bit of chopping needed and a body lift.
To give you some idea, these are the same rims with 31x10.5'sImage
So, off-sets are the key 8)

I seam to, mind you I have removed all evidence there were any in the beginning. I can't help it if the wof guy doesn't know one Terrano from another :)

Lol. Mine has broke a rear swaybar link, so works as if there is none. Does removing the front make much of a difference?

I kept breaking them too. After the 4th and 5th ones, got sick of it and took the whole lot out.
I have a bit more body roll, and it's a little more of a handful under full brakes but it is a 4wd and you don't steer them, you merely guide them
Yesterday on the way home, I had to do an emergency stop and it was quite easy to keep it straight and turn all under control. So not much noticeable difference.

I've tried searching but cant find the posts im after, I need to start making up the brackets etc to strengthen the front end, i've done 2" spring and torsion lift so think its time to get it stronger.

What is the big bar that goes from one side to the other joining tierods and idlers together? My one is buggered and i need a new one, dont wanna get it on and bugger a new one

Found this site, and this seems to be what i need to do.
http://www.nissan4x4.co.za/GH_ShowArticle.asp?HID=22

Does anyone have the measurements for the brace? and has anyone drilled out the old bushes in the draglink? its the bushes in mine that is buggered.

Not sure how much it would cost to make these brackets, but i Haven't had much practice with a welder so I'm not sure if its something i should practice on, If someone has the measurements and could make me some up I'll be happy to pay.
