need a little help

Post by Bolo »

well it all started about 2 days ago, i was coming up to a set of lights and the truck died and it wouldnt start  . so we towed it home ,got it in the drive way , so i thought i would try again and sure enough boom she fired to life :x . so parked it up in its place. checked the dizzy cap and rotor and both were buggered  so replaced them .. so i took it to work today not a problem , gave it a full service and oil filter change .. so on the way home doing 100km it died and wouldnt start  , pulled over and kept trying . but nothing , so checked leads and cap , still nothing , so moved wires around at the plug at the ECU , then away she went , it sat there idleing away not a problem , then just before taking off it died....and then wouldnt start back up ,, :| so waited for a tow . and relise after a little time sitting it would fire up . then 5 seconds late it would die ..., so after waiting for the tow , tried it again and away she went , then sure enough it stoped. so got towed home , so back in the drive it started up and moved around the drive not a problem ..

any ideas on why it is dieing ????? :( need some help .......

Replace fuel filter (about $30 from Mitzy in UH, don't get the mitsi one, get the "Cedele" brand),

.....you could also try putting some fuel in the tank.......
