thats interesting as i was told the tdo5 is a good size for a td42 so would have thought a little 2.4 would struggle to spin it.
Sorry for the off topic comments
So at say 15psi is the tdo5 working its arse off on a td42 or is it still within its range?
No this a dumb Q but what size is the 5L-t and what they usually in?
What the first impressions of the quality of the DSR430?
Am new to the modding of diesils and keen to learn all this stuff

Well, as far as the build quality of a dsr430 goes..
A friend of mine builds, rebuilds and modifies turbos as a hobby and has done so for quite some time.
He has had a few of the DSR products over his work benches and they are there usually due to being fitted wrong (no oil), Bad oil (usually with pieces of engine going through them from not being cleaned properly after rebuilds) or they are for R&D purposes..
The build quality of the dsr430 and materials seem to be of similar quality to Garrett, HOLSET and all the other big name brands.
5L+GT35@21psi= 223RWHP
5L+GT35@30+psi= 287RWHP....

Great tow Vehicle!

5l is a 3000cc hilux motor. Think they come non turbo only, but people obviously +T them.
