Hi fatcat,

I have just done my exhaust on my truck to a 2.5 inch from the Turbo, I had an exhaust brake just after the flexy which is ok to remove, this is only needed in very cold conditions.

Is it a big square flange thing with a cable comming of it to and other unit :?: :?:

Cheers

its not a exhaust brake the flap closes on cold mornings when you push the button on the dash, it allows the engine to heat up faster and run better while cold. i ditched my whole system for a strait thru 2.5 system and the dump pipe even has the waste gate plumbed in seperately
needs more curry

Cool thanks mud_slinger,

I dont know why I keep referring to it as an Exhaust brake, it kinda looks like one.

I have also done the same to mine what you did, what an improvment :D

Hey GotFlex,

I have not done the intercooler yet when do you need to add an intercooler?

I have not done anything with the fuel or boost, I have a boost of 14psi 2.5 from turbo and medium muffler.

Sorry for hyjacking this post :D
