Insurance company fun about to start

Hey guys I have a slight problem.
I was driving my Explorer when the quake hit.
It's a 99 with 240000ks
The truck rocked like I had a broken mag or snapped axle the final part of the rocking ride was to be jolted up onto two wheels and then slammed down again.
Now I have rolled cars, been hit at full noise racing a stock car but nothing compared to how hard the truck hit the ground. Now this is what has happened since the incident 1)abs light has come on and stays on 2)the windscreen now leaks, 3)the suspension now makes some very funny noise and the wheel alignment is way out and in 400ks has cut a nice flat spot on my tire.4) the trans when it hit the ground the truck was in drive but nothing happened it didn't move, I put it in park and back to drive still nothing I then turned the truck off put it in park started it put it in drive then it went now it doesn't shift as smooth as it did and the warning light comes on within 20-30ks and when it does the shifts are even rougher.
Now before you go the age and the ks blah blah blah the day before the quake it was WOF'd and rgo'd with a full clean sheet not a dicky bird.
Now the insurance company is saying that due to its age, K's and that its designed for a bit of rough treatment that I have to pay for the report on the damage and that they might not payout for anything other then the minor panel damage and the leaky windscreen.
It would be great to hear some of your feed back and if someone out there could help with a report that would help me of coarse would be much appreciated

dunno how those insurance companies work, I got $2k worth of offroad body damage approved and paid out at the end of last year?

sell it buy a landrover an get insurance with no geographical limits

you have a pretty long list , and i hate to say it it has to be proved to the insurer that all damage has been done,
the best way is to obtain an independent assessment from a
known mechanical repairer, the facts will solve the issues that you have with the current insurer.

they can be real mogrels..

i also know what a hit in a stockcar feels like(raced them the last 3years).so i can only imagine the amount of damage that couldve been done..no doubt the balljoints are shagged too.

hope you get paid out for it..
if your looking for another one we are selling ours, its 2000 with a few less kms...dont need it now that i sold the stockcar..and have a surf....

Now here is where we are at at the moment I still don't have the truck.
The company sent it to A ford dealer the report reads as I would have expected that it could have been caused by the jolts but due to the k's it could also be wear and tear.
Now remember that the truck passed a wof the day before the quake.
This is the point that I keep coming back to for some of the issue as they are checked as part of the wof.
I'm now at the point where I just don't care enough about the truck anymore.
Due to how long it has taken I bought myself another truck which now has my shell we say my affection (mint 2 owner 88 gx cruiser ).

At this point I'm weighting to sit down with the companies technical advisor and see what they come up with.

To be honest I wouldn't trust the truck if or when I get it back now anyway.

Update
Got it back Trans untouched(wear and tear)
Panel work done abs fixed suspension and wheel alignment supposedly within factory spec yeah right still drives to the left.
All fault codes were cleared.
Now have to decide what to do with it I will need a trans as the warning light still comes on within about 15ks (but hey thats just wear and tear isn't)
Not really happy but what else can you do.
