This is probably an easy question for someone, but im unsure of what this switch (above that black STABI sticker) is for on my 93 Safari GQ LWB. It looks like its a new switch but the area looks standard?
That Stabi sticker is for the sway bar release underneath
I had exactly the same switch in the same location. I think it was for the lighting system the previous owner had (cant remember now)
haha!
Yea, there seems to be alot of wires jammed down by the battery in the engine bay with a little relay box, i thought a previous owner had spotties or something hooked up to it?
Normally yes thats the ones ,the control box for them has IPF stamped on it and is usually drivers side in the engine bay between battery and headlight

My truck was once used as a camera car and it had servo controlled lamps with hand controllers installed at one time (controllers were left in the car)
There was so much wiring junk there that It was hard to work out what was factory and what was not.
phone Ross Bolus (secretary of the BOP club) He'll save you.
Ive got the same switch in My saf, but its on the R/h side of column. Mine was (still is) connected to a relay box tucked under the top side of the front panel behind the left hand headlamp. It was connected to spots that were once attached to my bumper, but werent there after compliance.

Yea i traced the wires in the weekend and they run down towards a relay box (FET brand) down infront of the left headlight with all the wires tucked in there. Need to figure them out to see if i can salvage them when i get some more spotties (ones i had were only 12v)
