I have broken a few teeth on my rear diff :roll: so looking for a complete open center diff head or crown wheel and pinon at 4.3 ratio.
89 LN106 Hilux 3.0L turbo,2" bodylift 50mm suspension lift, lockrite rear, lsd front & 33" wranglers & winch

Are 4.3's rare or something now? When I was last buying diffs with my old surf 4.3's were really easy to find (about 3 years ago) and you could get an open head for about $150. Times must have changed! Maybe you should change to 4.5's haha I have a good 4.5 lsd for sale if you are interested.

i thought the same that 4.3 would be pretty common and there would be a few lying around.

Iv got a 4.3 all the up here you can have for a hundy if you get desperate. Dont know what shipping would cost. Will check its a 4.3 tonight...

I have a 4.3 ring and pinion (used) from my KZJ Prado.
Should be the same....
If you get desperate...
Price??? Say $50 plus any shipping costs. (as its only the ring and pinion)
But will double check if you are keen.

Shot into garage, ring 43 teeth, pinion 10 teeth.... 4.3 to 1

Going in the rear of a 130series surf.

These diff heads are also very common in Hiace vans, so if you are looking you can also go that way.
