Problems with your locker?

Post by Matt2012 »

I have sourced a supplier of required parts to turn your electric locker (Vacuum) into a manual controlled unit in cab! This is a lot cheaper than mucking around with the solenoids and electrical issues, Takes fifteen minutes to install.
So simple to use and engages/disengages so much faster than to factory unit!

actually, my brother has an issue with the factory locker in his safari, seems the switch below the radio area needs the little light bulb to be in working order to complete the circuit. is this correct??

Hi sorry to bring this up again but new to this site and have a question about my locker. As far as i can tell both of my air sucky things on the fire wall are working and i have pulled the hoses off at the diff to make sure its working down there. But my locker isnt engaging so what im wondering is how much pressure does it take or what inside the diff area would fail for this to happen. Cheers

Have you tried swapping the hoses around on the 2 solenoids? Has it previously worked?

Does it make any noise at all? The dog teeth do break if you use them hard enough

Hi yip use to work no worries and now has just stopped. Had the diff rebuilt about 1 year ago because of broken teeth and when put back together worked as normal. Have tried swapping hoses around. is there some sort of diaphram in the unit on the diff that could have gone causing it to crap out. Cheers for the help
