series 2a wheel nut size

iv only got 4 wheel nuts on each front wheel and iv been told by the garage it isnt warrentable :evil: why did my friendly garage have to close... so iv been on the hunt for replacement (if only temporary) but so far all the wheel nuts off the series landy's i know are too big? my s3 LWB spare axel's nuts are too big and the ones i got off a mate's s3 SWB tonight are also too big....

what size are mine and/or what other cars have them?

Think old british :lol:
They are most likely UNF, not the most common these days :roll:
As I have posted in the past, let me at it with the verniers and a thread pitch gauge and we'll at least know what you need 8)

ok, that would be great. you really are a man of many tools and talents. ill text you when i get the truck back wof or not and i can come past yours. unless you can do it off a wheel nut?

You could come over here and see if one off my Mini fits. Then I can find out what size they are :mrgreen:

15/16" socket size. S3 onwards, Discos etc have the larger ones.
Ive got a few of the ones you want. PM me if you need.
S3 Rover truck cab, injected 186, Sals rear,Toyota P/steer, Safari disc brakes front, R/Rover D/brakes rear, 9500 winch,twin optima batts, roll bar, Disco seats, 33" JTs, scene lamps, onboard air, Front ARB locker.

thanks for the offer. rex (lilpigzuk) of landroverspares lent me a couple to get it though the wof and then ill buy a set off them when they get their shipment. may as well have some spares.
