25-26-27 March

Post by Mudhog »

I'll start it of for this weekend :D

I will be up at Woodhill Jeep Park on Sunday with the Auckland Landrover Owners Club on Patrol Duties.

I'll be in Mudhog and if you see me come over and say Hello

With all this rain, it could be pretty wet up there!!!

Cheers
Brett :D

Today I fitted the Lada fuel gauge sender unit. It didn't work. :(

Then it started raining so I couldn't get rid of what little rust there is under it. :(

Oh well, maybe sunday...

garage still havnt finished landy.... dont understand why its taking them so long, guess theyd rather fix all the soccer mum's mercs and bmws first... so iv had to scrap my plans of making a center console and fitting the volt meter, cab light, window washer bottle, window de-mister (yes i know its going to almost double the number of fuses it has now) and fitting the new springs...
guess a weekend of study it is..

to keep lilpigzuk happy- after 5pm i changed my cracked, water filled headlight in the 40 with a new one. took all for 15mins but still an achievement i guess...
also got the speaker off a mate that ill put in the landrover so thatll mean ill double the number of fuses...

Missed out on buying a ticket for a gig online...

Only option is to wait outside the venue hoping to get a door sale.

Only problem is .... it's on the redlight district and it's dark and wet

Wish me luck

By the looks of things its going to be a wet weekend for North. Going out tomorrow morning to peg out hazzards for the Whangarei 4wd club champs, then the club will be running the hazzards Sunday. Should be a bit of fun with the amount of rain we have had  . Will post pictures up of Sunday.

Anyways, I had today off and started the prep for this weekends work on the truck.
Non 4wd; cleaned spit (from party last weekend), dropped back.

4wd front; picked up second hand steering box and cleared some space in the garage to get truck in out of the rain :D
More to come,
Cheers,

Ended up at Woodhill on patrol today :x to make up numbers, got some video of trucks having a play in the car park Mud area.

There was about 11 trucks in there today and we had a roll over in the Sand Bowl :o

Everyone was Okay, but the truck looked pretty second hand :(

Back up there tomorrow on Patrol for the day I was meant to do.
