Common TD5 issue

Post by Bubba »

Apprently this is a common problem. common however may not mean cheap.

A little online research tells me that the problem is oil ingession in to the injector multi-plugs.

It is suggested to blow out the plugs from the injector pins and clean them. If that fails then replace it from the harness up to the ECU

Q, where are they and what do they look like. Can someone post a picture with a big arrow please?

Out standing Rex! Yes I has the usual rough running systems, like its running on 4 cylinders? Only after it warms up

You wanna give me a price for a new harness so I can advise "she who must be obeyed". I'm going to try and just give it a clean out for now and replace it later if I can get away with it
