1991 Terrano ***Sold***

Post by slo_mo »

Hi Guys,

Took Terrano for a WOF and failed on some repair work that there is no paper work for or cert. And some other minor things.

Hi, the old as much as possible really.
Looking at just the td27 motors for sale at the moment on trademe I'm a little more for a complete car.

If that helps you with a rough estimate without me disclosing.

As i have a permanent search on tardme for Terrano,
the last complete engine a saw was $750 (saw a long block, no pump or turbo, didn't sell at $250) plus the body $950-$1250 tops.
Forget the wreckers, they're for the desperate
Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Permanent search, that is some dedication.
I noticed that 2door with the gearbox issue no one bid more than you for so can't be many desperate at the moment
Going of the above my price is pretty fair.

If you look real close, that deal fell through at $1500, and it had a warrant plus rego.
Then it was withdrawn from sale yesterday and only got to $900.
Last turbo I got was $31 plus freight,
and got a injection pump from the same guy for $51,
combined shipping was $20 = bargains.
Glad I'm not desperate, ay
Just my 10c worth.

If it's the same one (Listing #: 365036611) the reserve for me shows $1300.
If the gearbox was fine in it I would have thought about getting it and using mine to strip for what spares I could and almost give away or scrap the rest.

That is some bargins you got there, no question about that though.
For those prices you could keep tweaking to find the best combination.

Yip that was it.
First listing was this,
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=362742302
Someone must of offered him the right money
Lowered the reserve from 1500.
Hope you get what you're asking.
I'm only interested in 3dr's.
They have a few components unique to them.
And manuals go for more than autos.
Cheers,
