Patrol/Safari PDF Manual

Post by Taz »

Have some minor issues with the rear caliper slide not moving in and out and can't find my manual.

Would some legend be able to email the PDF version to ............... as the download for it is no longer active.

I'll email it back when I'm finished

I'll make it easy for you. Go and buy a caliper kit for it as the slides are rusty and most likely the piston as well. GQ rear calipers are complete shit!!!!!!!
Chances are you'll need to sand blast the inside of the caliper to get rid of all the corosion!
And the rubber boot is a real bitch to get back into the groove.

Already ordered one this morning. Wanted to see what was going on first before I did but Coxsy didn't have any luck with the email. Meece is awesomely sending a copy down though so will upload it for others when it lands and get another hard copy for the door card.

I only got one kit as the other sides pad was wearing evenly and moving freely. This ok or is it better to do both at the same time as a rule?

Do both as I bet the other side isn't far away.

If you watch and wait you can normal get a deal on discs and pads to. I did all of mine at the same time and for about $200 per corner got recond calipers, new pads and discs.
Didn't stop me writing off the chassis at the next race though!!!!!!!!!!

Legend. Cheers for that. Don't lie though. The delay was finding your porn collection first wasn't it

No matter what you do there will always be something to undo it aye
Still enough meat on the discs to machine if they need it but will keep an eye out for some deals.
