Thoughts on what
Do it, best mod you will ever make. Will ruin you for mud tyres off road though
Oh might not be the best in pea metal and sand, but have a mate who puts his on his disco to launch his 6m rib off the beach

Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

Re: Silverstones
We have just gone from Simex to Silverstone, you really notice the difference I think just because of the larger lag spacing compared to Simex. Altho we did increase the size. These or Simexs would be the way to go, just Silverstones are cheaper than Simex. They are awesome in mud, just look at the winch comp guys, most of them are running Silverstones or Simex.
Comp rig: Suzuki Vitara, L67 Supercharged V6 Commie and auto, Prado chassis and diffs. Gigglepin 8274 twin motor rear mounted winch, air free spools, 35" Silverstones, ect
Re: Silverstones

let them down to about 8psi and they will be fine. I had mine on 7" rims, no tubes, never popped a bead on 7" rims. Popped them heaps on 8" rims though. If you get to wet slippery rocks they are shit
