a mate has had his pajero written off, bought it back off the insurance co but looks like the buyer he had lined up has shot through.
havn't got pic's or model number but it looks like mid-late 80's 3 litre V6 pajero. 7 seater model, 200 odd tho km's.
has had impact on the rear bumper. the worse damage is the rear door hinge has been push sideways so it won't seal (but still locks).
otherwise its mint condition, NO RUST !, manual front hubs fitted.
and yes it really was a Remura tractor at one stage!
would make a mint off road only vehicle. i will ask panel beater to see what it would cost to get it back on the road (tempted to buy it myself).
vehicle is near Warkworth. let me know if your interested.

Re: pajero 4 sale
Let me know how much it'll cost to get it to WoF standard, when you find out. Cheers

Re: pajero 4 sale
Yeah would like to know the price as well. Being a insurance buy back he probably paid around $500 for it and it may be de-regd as well (thats what we do with our write offs). They dont even keep the rego alive if staff want to buy it back.

Re: pajero 4 sale
looks like my post from last night has disappeared.
i think hes asking 900 which is what he paid for it.
no idea on cost to re reg or plates.
i think he got shafted by insurance co

Re: pajero 4 sale
had a chat to panel beater.
the cost of the paper work to get it inspected and new rego etc is $1300.
not sure on actual repair cost (as he hasn't seen it) but i would expect at least $1000. problem is that it has to be done to "as new" standard and by professionals (ie no home repairs) as its the panel beaters arse that is on the line for your handy work.
even tho its in mint condition, because its been de-rego'ed the cost of getting back on the road is substantial and would be on par with buying a roadworthy one.
