I've got a rear semi-floater. Spring mounts have been cut off and welded on top for SOA. Has open 4.1 diff head in it.

Is complete and I'd want to sell it that way. PM me if you are interested (though I'm in Silverdale which is a long way away from you...).

Your onto it brother. Thinking wide axles with postive off set rims to keep the weight off the wheel bearings. With the width tyre Im planning on running it works out about 300mm wider. Still playing with ideas on how to deal with the centre pinions tho :? :?

If they are being made wider then you could use 40, 60, 70 series housings to chop up they are the same just different widths.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

are 60 series the widest of them all?
anybody care to list width of them all. not measurements just width in order narrow to widest kind of thing.

60series are the widest then from memory 40series and 70series are the same width but spring perches are in different places.
