Hi we're new to the 4x4 world and looking at buying a Nissan Terrano 97 turbo des. Mostly for the extra seats in back and the size.
I just want to know are this cars any good?
-Running costs? long trips and aroudn town?
-parts costs when needed?
-ANY PROBLEMS they can have thats are not of a normal probelm?
-Can they do beach drives - soft or hard sands?
- if you use the 7seater, are they ok for kids in the back? We only need to use the rear seats for a short time of the yr. (Just long trip involoved for the kids)
ANY ADVICE given would be great.

Hey Ocka,
Terrano don't come in 7 seaters, well none that I have seen anyway. Sure your not thinking of a Mistral, same motor.

Yep this is 7seater, unless we were looking at the wrong car on the weekend. - it has those box seats(or what ever there called lol) in the back.
Maybe you call it something else in NZ, i'm in Aus.

Anything Nissan=$$$$
Petrol= $$$$
97 terrano=no ladder chassis=hard to mount anything on them like bullbars, winches etc.
But I would buy a nissan any day rather then a toyoty
