Today the Whangarei 4wd club had there club champs. Big turn out of trucks would of had probally 20 trucks. Weather was awesome, the tracks where good and were challenging. Got a heap of photos just picked out a few.

the second to last pic above was a graded hazard so shineys could run the pegs. I only did first 7 stages but they were all pegged to the trucks present with a little sting in the end for the buggys and the like. The first roll over was driver opps, then when it looked like it was stopped it deceided to tip into the creek. didnt see the second rollover
Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

Spent today working in the kitchen.......not cooking :lol: Put in an extraction fan and new door frame for the kitchen doors that will be installed tomorrow. At least the wee wifey is getting excited that the she is getting a new kitchen :mrgreen:

The second roll over happened because the truck was straddling across some sheep ruts and his front wheel slipped off and it just rolled onto it roof, surprising how little damage it had for a truck with out a cage.

what about saturday ripping up the mud? got some sweet video that ill post tomorrow. sorry about the rope. it was a mean as day. :D im still grinning.

Well, saturday ,went around Red rocks in wellington, and got rather stuck ( Thanks Black Death , for being my night and shinning armmor :lol: ) , but the truck went really well other than that .... :roll: ... at the end of the day got Engaged ... 8) .... Sunday , helped my parents around the house , washed under the truck and did a bit of work on the new traliar .. so a great weekend all round :mrgreen:

Flew home, drove truck on some sand dunes, drunk beer, slept on the beach, came home and cleaned it. Gotta love being back in NZ

Damit! not quite a clean sheet on the Safari for a WOF this time,

ran the Saf though for a warrant this morning , wasn't too worried about it mechanically knowing all the bushes, wheel bearings, brakes and rust had been done in the last 6 months, forgot to check the bloody headlights though .. the left hand one still had 1/2 doz water droplets in it from the bath it got at the ChCh fundraser a month ago, failed me on the condensation on the inside of the glass :lol: took the bulb out and jambed a rag in there to dry the glass ... PASS! sweet!! front locker here i come :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

I got much the same problem, goodlooking son who looks NOTHING like what I see in my mirror. Poor bastid's got the Packard nose though.
