does it have any lift?

is it slowly moving side to side or shaking quite bad?

Just have a feel around with a bar to see if theres slop anywhere ie wheel bearings, kingpins, panhard bushes. I'd also check the front bushes on the radius arms to make sure they aren't collapsing or gone already. When you lose correct castor you can end up chasing it a bit with the wheel to keep it goin straight.
Also check all the tie rods are straight if you've offroaded it I guess.
