Nissan TD42 to TD42T

Have just replaced a tired TD42 with a japanese import TD42T but it wont rev past 2000rpm so I assume that it has a limiter of sorts on the injector pump. question is how to disconnect/remove. Any help appreciated

To be honest mate i live in Australia and I got the moter from a place called Brisbane Moter Imports. I am sure that their are similar mobs in NZ who import second hand jap motors. Sorry I cant be more helpfull
