Wellywood this Easter

Post by curly12 »

Right'o you old buggers!!!

I will arriving in Wellly this Tuesday evening for a week or so.

I want accomodation

I want dinner

I want beer

I want to talk shit and be abused

After a year living with old parents and taking care of Dad, it is time for a break

I probably won't get back online before I arrive but can be contacted on my cell

Was hoping that those of you that are not heading away would like to have a bbq and a few beers on Friday or Saturday

More than likely Abbo's place, best I let him know

Should be at WTB sometime on Wednesday morning, so Stinky have the farken jug on

And Taz, no you cannot raid my POS for parts cause I need to get home

Well I had a Bubba moment (an act of pure brillance).

Curly boy, you interested in going up to RW this weekend?

Who else would be interested in going up? Sorry it can't be a open invite to all and sundry at this time but RSVP your interest, 1/2 dozen trucks should be fine, will confirm later today.

Yes Rallywoods is booked and I am talking to those that booked it, just need to confirm how many "locals" are invited, thus my question remains, who is interested in going up and hosting/ guiding some out of towners.

I have confirmed with the trip leader that we would be more than happy for a max of 6 trucks to tag along. That leaves 4 places.

Friday to Sat/ Sun morning as another local club is in there on Sunday (CCVC)

RSVP please, to limit numbers (Taranki club Pres request)

Payments/ Chits to me so I can pass onto Club Pressy who will pass on to Paul (thats the way he wants it)

If Abbo is going to host Curlysue maybe we could have a bbq Friday avo and then in to RW through the back gate (sober dirvers only)

I'm more than happy to host the big fella at my place and have a bbq there for all the boys and gals, lots of room! It is however in Miramar.

Well yip, it all turned to shit for me. If it could turn wrong it did! It started with me singing to the trailer, you picked the wrong time to leave me loose wheel. :)
Had to return the Cruiser and trailer home, decided to just head up anyway, then the Disco shed a return fuel line. Managed to get it to Tawa, then another 3 hours until I got it home.

took another 3 hours of work the next day to bleed the fricken thing, what a pain, but thats another story.

good news is the Cruiser goes like a fricken rocket, great fun on the new gravel in Miramar!!
