Visiting the area for a few weeks

Hi

I'm from the UK and spending a year traveling around New Zealand. I've done some 4x4ing back home and bought a 1st gen LWB Pajero for some exploring while I'm here. Next summer I want to do a big tour of both islands, pretty much like what Toyota are doing (http://www.toptobottom.co.nz/) except I'll probably be going bottom to top.

I'm in Upper Hutt until the end of May and want to join some trips over the next few weeks. My truck's standard apart from 32" tyres and front and rear recovery hooks. If anything's happening that would be suitable let me know,
