Just about to hit the road. We can take entries on the day for any of you that have left it to late. Otherwise I hope you'll come up and watch the fun. See you on Sunday

Re: Alpine Village Inn 4x4 Challenge and Tractor Pull (Hanmer)
Cheers for the clips. If anyone has anymore, would be great to see, even some good stills of the line competing.

Re: Alpine Village Inn 4x4 Challenge and Tractor Pull (Hanmer)
Lots of work done on the course, awesome!
I pasted the hanmer turn off at around 4pm that day heading south home from Nelson. I was surprised that there wasn't more advertising on the road side for the event fellas!!
I'm sure you had enough to organize before the day. But more advertising of the event wouldn't have gone a miss Rick, Frank n Jase?? Man, it looked like an awesome day!! Feel like I really missed out.

Re: Alpine Village Inn 4x4 Challenge and Tractor Pull (Hanmer)
my name is rik and i recently moved( 7 years ago) to Aotearoa (thats what us hommies in the tuahiwi hood call it) and im new to 4 wheel driving (i believe the term is 4x4 ing when using text slang
as you gain status in the said "4x4 community"") and am eager to build a vehicle to go offroad in
looked at a land cruiser similar to this red one
but found they had a problem with burning oil so discarded that idea so looked at a surf like this one
which looked most impressive but had big big issues with the drivers side springs collapsing and i only saw it driven a couple of times so was worried about the reliability
eventually settled on a mighty hilux double cab ute
it had enough room to fit the family in for trips away (or lots of beer)
had a massive deck on back so it was practical for work or (tools to fix other broken trucks that might have sheered a bolt in the suspension for example)
so i set to work and put some slightly bigger tyres on and modified it a little here and there
then i bought some bigger tyres
and has been in modification mode ever since and one day the mighty hilux shall rise from the shed and be invincible once more
and as for the other comments "no brickys" sssssshhhhhh there might be to much work to do
"no bad language"f### me well you can f###### stick that up your f####### a### you f###### a### wipe of a d### brained c####
and whats this "rules " thing ??? i dont understand??
as for the pom thing i find it offensive as i live in the hood wit my bros and hoes so watch your back!!!!!!!!!

Rock on you crazy barstard.
I think you forgot the winch you added to help put the slightly bent airport fire service back up the right way
Tell me when your shit is ready and we'll go and break some stuff (just like the old days)
