 Have you considered driving on all four wheels instead of just two? That's an impressive effort. Gutted I didn't make it out there.

Went up to a track in Kaukapakapa in the safari today. Was wet as hell, ended up sliding down a bank and got stuck. Tried to dig it out for 3.5 hours until i got my old man's neighbour to bring his Farm Tractor down to pull the whale out.

Didnt get any photos but the safari is covered in mud and the inside too.

Ahwell!

To correct you that was not a GOD winch as it is differently set up, but it was the fastest winch out there of the lot.

How is it not a GOD winch?

That is something you have to ask Cheese to explain, something about the setup of it there a two ways, dont ask me how as it went through one ear and out the other.
But it is still an impressive winch once he sorts out the Issues.

Cheers.

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules about what makes a GOD winch, but in my opinion if it is completely home made and uses a car diff as the reduction unit it is a GOD winch. Either way its bloody fast and fun to watch!!

ahh, well replaced coolant in the Suzuki, and drove a little bit over the farm. Found out I cant make the norwest club trip to Taranaki in may due to having to do a PAT rehearsal for the police.

Looked at fixing the front diff properly but it still wasn't leaking so i couldn't be bothered then it started to rain. Bloody farm is slippery as hell.

Went up to National trials finals, Only 2nd time in drivers seat, Had a blast!
Found a couple of niggles with the truck but nothing we can't sort out. New tyre's are awsome! wider rims and spacers made steering interesting but felt amasingly stable on the sidlings.

Bring on next season! :D
It's just more fun in a lada !!
